Increasing Travelex World Cup Exposure

To increase Travelex brand exposure and customer brand experience during the World Cup we created an online game where Travelex customers could predict match results to win football related prizes.

Postal and digital marketing drove traffic to a competition micro site offering players the chance to predict World Cup match results and to compete during the four week tournament. Players from across the world competed in an online global league – players were emailed their league position after each match, offering them the opportunity to make further match predictions in the next stage. The game offered each player 32 brand experiences over the tournament period. 

The Result

In a true reflection of the Travelex brand reach, the game was played on every continent bringing customers together around the world in a Travelex global brand arena.
